Join author Patrizia Simone of award-winning Simone's Restaurant in Bright as she takes you on a journey through Umbria and its culinary traditions. Just $69 per person with matching wines or $34.50 per child, feast on a special 3-course lunch incorporating family recipes from Patrizia's book 'My Umbrian Kitchen'. Hear from the author as she talks about her gastronomic adventures in Italy.

Served between 12.00pm and 3.00pm on Sunday the 12th of May, 2013 in the hotel's Thornbury Room, guests will have the opportunity to purchase their own copy of 'My Umbrian Kitchen' and get it signed by the author.

The indulgent 3-course menu includes a choice of:

• Semi-cured tuna and swordfish with avocado, orange and fennel
• Pumpkin ravioli with brown butter, walnuts and apple

 Main

• Herb and pancetta lamb cutlets with artichoke pesto
• Quail involtini with drunken chestnuts and grape and pomegranate dressing

 Dessert

• Violet panna cotta
• Apple and walnut roulade with rum and raisin gelato
