From 27 to 30 May, natural luxury island resort Amilla Maldives will celebrate Eid al-Adha with an array of immersive experiences. From vibrant cultural festivities, exceptional culinary indulgences and a restorative wellness programme to engaging family activities, each day will showcase a diverse line-up of entertainment set against the serene beauty of Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in the Maldives.

The day of Eid al-Adha will begin with the vibrant spirit of Bodu Mas, a traditional Maldivian procession filled with rhythmic drumming, dance and cultural festivities, followed by sunset cocktails at Pool Beach. As evening falls, the celebrations continue with an elegant starlit Eid Dinner served by the shore*, before the evening winds down with a relaxed Shisha & Soft Rhythms night at Baa Bar.

Honouring the rich heritage of the Maldives, the resort also presents a series of cultural experiences, beginning with Maldivian High Tea* at Baa Bar on 28 May, followed by an indulgent Maldivian Night Feast at The Emperor Beach Club on 29 May featuring vibrant live music and a traditional drumming performance. The next day, guests can visit a nearby island to discover more about the local culture, traditions and everyday life of the Maldivian community*.

The resort also offers a playful space for self-expression through a series of immersive workshops designed for guests of all ages, including an Eid Memories photography class; Island Palm Leaf Art; and The Art of Sushi* – each encouraging guests to explore new skills while embracing the spirit of the island. Younger guests can also engage their artistic spirit with creative activities including Eid ornament crafting.

A selection of family-friendly activities at the resort is designed to bring guests and their loved ones together, with experiences ranging from a sandcastle-building challenge; family sandbank picnic excursion*; and movie nights under the stars to beach games competitions and a family pool party.

As the sun sets, the atmosphere eases into evenings of leisurely island relaxation. Soulful Saxophone Sessions at Pool Beach on 27 May offer a soothing soundtrack by the shore, while Magical Hour at Baa Bar* from 28 to 30 May provides the perfect setting to unwind into the night with expertly crafted sunset cocktails. On 30 May, wine expert Nosipho will also bring her extensive experience from renowned vineyards and wineries to a wine tasting dinner at The Cellar Door*. Through a guided sensory journey, guests will savour both familiar favourites and new discoveries while exploring the distinctive aromas, tasting notes and origins behind each carefully selected wine.

Coinciding with the start of Eid al-Adha, the resort's Javvu Spa will also host a restorative wellness residency designed to inspire balance and inner renewal. From 23 May to 7 June, holistic wellness practitioner Dr. Shagnika Pradhan – renowned for her expertise in natural healing and yogic philosophy – will offer complimentary sessions, including a Sound Healing Meditation and a Holistic Lifestyle Consultation. Guests can also elevate their experience by booking rejuvenating treatments such as the Eid Glow Journey (120 minutes; USD 290++ per person or approx. GBP 216) and Relax & Renew (from 60 minutes; USD 190++ per person or approx. GBP 141++).

Available for stays until 23 December 2026, the Amilla Villas Getaway and Amilla Residences Getaway offers present savings of 30% and 40% respectively on stays booked by 30 June 2026, including discounted seaplane transfers and complimentary inclusions such as a Half Board upgrade and use of water sports and snorkelling equipment.**
