WHAT: The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), the oldest and largest dental specialty organization in the world with more than 17,000 members, will host its 113th Annual Session May 3-7 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. In recognition of the organization's impact, Mayor Michael A. Nutter has proclaimed Saturday as “Orthodontist Day.”
This year's meeting will feature more than 150 lectures for orthodontists and their staff featuring updates on orthodontic research, technology and practice management.
On Saturday, May 4, the session's Opening Ceremony for attendees is scheduled from 6 - 8 p.m. in Hall D, Level 2 of the Pennsylvania Convention Center. The ceremonies will feature a performance from Grammy-award winning band Earth, Wind and Fire.
