PHOENIX, -- America West Holdings Corporation parent company of low-fare carrier America West Airlines, Inc., today announced the results of its annual stockholders' meeting held in Phoenix.
Stockholders voted to elect the four directors nominated by the Board of Directors: Matthew J. Hart, Robert J. Miller, W. Douglas Parker and John F. Tierney, to three-year terms expiring at the Company's 2008 annual meeting.
America West Holdings Corporation is an aviation and travel services company. Wholly owned subsidiary America West Airlines, Inc. is the nation's second largest low-fare airline and the only carrier formed since deregulation to achieve major airline status.
