This truly is a unique opportunity to explore historic, wartime sunken wrecks combined with amazing wildlife!
The War in the Pacific and Far East was fought by ships at sea and by armies that were carried to war aboard ships.
Across the entire theatre, from Pearl Harbor to Burma, Japan to the Coral Sea and as far south as New Zealand, evidence of these bitterly fought battles lies undisturbed on the ocean floor.
Using airborne drones, unmanned underwater vehicles and incredible deep sea midget submarines, all equipped with the world's most advanced imaging technologies, we will search, discover, film and record mighty ships, aircraft and the machinery of war.
During these explorations and in between filming, we are offering our members and partners, an unequalled chance to see first hand what devastation lies beneath the waves.
Locations
Diving will be available from October in various locations including Java Sea (Battle of the Java Sea), Sunda Straits, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Truk Lagoon and Bikini Atol.
Japanese forces gathered to invade at Java on 27 February 1942. An American-British-Dutch-Australian Command naval force sailed to intercept them. This included the heavy cruisers HMS Exeter and USS Houston, three light cruisers HNLMS De Ruyter, HNLMS Java, HMAS Perth and nine destroyers (How many ships sunk there)? 5
What you will see!
In various locations you will see WW2 mighty warships (HMS Repulse, HMS Prince of Wales, USS Saratoga, HMAS Perth, to name but a few), and in Truk Lagoon in Micronesia, you will have the opportunity to explore the best war-time sunken wreck site in the world. Littered on the sea-bed are aircraft, tanks, cars, personal items and of course ships. Clear, warm water makes for excellent diving conditions.
Dive opportunities will be exclusive and very limited in these waters from October for a period of 12 months.
Our clients will also have the opportunity to observe the wonderful marine life in these waters, which now lives in harmony with the wrecks.
Selective dates will be offered on a first come basis and only confirmed with a deposit.
