YHA (England and Wales) has today (Friday) announced a fabulous February half-term deal.
From today (9th January) until 9th February, the youth hostelling charity is offering rooms at 18 of its very best and most family-friendly properties in England and Wales from just £25 per night. YHA members will also benefit from additional membership discount.
The money-saving offer doesn’t end there. Kids also get to eat free when accompanied by a paying adult. This means a family can enjoy a one-night break with a two course meal from as little as £37.40.
The 18 properties in the offer include YHA’s ‘poshtels’ – YHA Ambleside, Grinton Lodge, Malham, Canterbury and South Downs, which all boast private en suite family rooms, fully licensed bars and restaurants as well as a contemporary, stylish interior.
Recently VisitEngland identified YHA’s ‘poshtels’ as a travel trend in 2014, set to be popular with families and inviduals looking for stylish, comfortable accommodation on a budget.
Also included in the offer is YHA St Briavels Castle, a magnificent 12th Century castle complete with fortress in Gloucester. A full list of participating hostels is below:
