Alluring Leisure Diversions Part of the All-Inclusive Experience of Laucala

Laucala Island, Fiji

A wealth of leisure diversions and superb cuisine are part of the all-inclusive experience

Situated in the South Seas, Laucala's lush terrain, turquoise lagoons and pristine white beaches, provide a perfect setting to enjoy the wealth of leisure diversions on offer. This luxury island destination has just twenty-five villas with tropical inspired décor by London based Lynne Hunt, scattered throughout its 1,416-hectare landscape, ensuring total privacy. Each villa has its own mosaic lined pool, in the midst of an inviting outdoor living area filled with vivid blooms. Depending on the villa you choose, the outlook is of the beach, a secluded bay, or the whole island with its mountains, mature coconut plantation and lush jungle.

Laucala's leisure pursuits and choice of dining options are included with your villa, and allow you to indulge your inner explorer side, or to simply just indulge.

Laucala's 18-hole Championship golf course designed by award winning Scotsman David McLay-Kidd, is set against a backdrop of mountains and integrated into the coconut plantation. With demanding fairways, well-developed greens, elaborately situated bunkers, it is suited to golfers of all skill levels and guests may also take lessons with the island's professional Tony Christie.

A way to view and enjoy the stunning turquoise lagoons surrounding Laucala, is riding one of eight beautifully groomed horses along one of the island's fine sandy beaches. Tennis courts, mountain bikes for exploring, and a state-of-the-art gym, are also on offer at Laucala.

Water activities highlighted include windsurfing, paddle boarding, sea kayaking, wake boarding, waterskiing, while dive enthusiasts may explore more than twenty beautiful sites of the inner reef such as 'Wonderland' with its abundance of white tip sharks, turtles and tropical fish. There is also sailing on a range of yachts, and sunset cruises aboard the island's sleek Riviera 41 Flybridge.

Perched on top of the beautiful Nawi Hill with lovely views of the Pacific, the Laucala Spa provides a haven of pure relaxation. Signature scents such as Senikau based on tropical blooms, and Qele, made from indigenous roots, woods and spices, are formulated with the many flowers, plants and herbs, growing in the spa's own herb garden, while the menu of treatments highlights both South Pacific traditions and modern techniques.

Whether you choose to dine in your villa or to visit one of Laucala's five restaurants and bars, you enjoy dishes based on the freshest produce. Organic fruits and vegetables, exotic herbs, poultry and cattle are sustainably produced on the island's farms, with other produce such as fish sourced locally.

Executive Chef Martin Klein hailing from the renowned Ikarus at Hangar 7 in Salzburg produces refined, seasonal menus at Plantation House Restaurant, an elegant casual dining venue. Former Oriental Hotel Bangkok Chef Khun Santi creates a light, spicy menu of Asian-inspired food at Seagrass Restaurant which has spectacular vistas of a pristine bay. Rock Lounge, Beach Bar and Pool Bar also offer delicious cuisine, and a selection of champagne, fine wines and cocktails, once more as a part of the inclusive experience.
