January 2023…/ This Valentine's Day, in honour of Vakkaru Maldives celebrating its fifth anniversary, the luxury resort in Baa Atoll has curated a dawn-to-dusk programme of its top five romantic experiences for lovebirds to enjoy together.

1. For the love of pampering

Start the day in your luxury villa, watching the sunrise as you enjoy a floating breakfast in your private pool, before heading to the overwater Merana Spa for some pampering with an ultra-nourishing body scrub and a blissful couple's massage. End the day with a silky milk bath and a glass of Champagne, followed by a relaxing sound healing session to help create new neural pathways known to build stronger relationships, leaving you and your partner feeling more connected than ever.

2. Love each other, love the planet

Spread the love while doing your bit for the environment by joining the resort's coral propagation programme and adopting a coral frame together. The frames are used to create artificial reefs for the myriad reef fish and invertebrate species that live around the island. Each couple will also receive an “adoption” certificate. Reflect on your day on board the resort's Princess 54 luxury yacht, taking in a magnificent Maldivian sunset as you cruise around the Baa Atoll enjoying Champagne and canapes.

3. When food is love

Wow your loved one with the Suite Escape in the award-winning four-bedroom Vakkaru Overwater Residence.
