Aleenta Phuket Introduces Five–Star Luxury Experience For Families

Aleenta Phuket Resort & Spa

The multi award-winning Aleenta Phuket Resort and Spa in Phang Nga, Thailand has launched the Aleenta Children's Club as part of a new and sophisticated family offering in a cool boutique hideaway environment where parents can relax while the children engage in educational and fun activities.

The emphasis at the state-of-the-art club, part of an extensive recent USD3.5 million remodelling of the property, is learning and development, meaning parents can drop off their children and enjoy this 'barefoot luxury' beach hideaway.

No other five-star boutique resort in Thailand has full service children's facilities, with the Aleenta Children's Club tailored for ages 18 months to 10 years old.

With not a Playstation, Wii or Xbox in sight, fully qualified teachers lead engaging, fun activities that include chocolate-making, Muay Thai classes, yoga, water sports, junior diving, kayaking, sailing, surfing and educational classes at the resort's celebrated turtle sanctuary. There is also a children's menu from the resort's new spa, the Ayurah Wellness Centre, massage classes, workshop and pool.

A professional nanny service is also available while Aleenta Phuket continually expands the programme to include offers linking children's activities to all the facilities at the Resort including the Ayurah Wellness Centre and the Gym.

While mum and dad walk along the 20km golden sands of Natai Beach or enjoy a glass of wine from the Aleenta Cellar, they can be assured of having the peace of mind that their children are being entertained and well looked after.

Aleenta Phuket is owned and operated by the AKARYN Hotel Group, whose Managing Director and Founder, Anchalika Kijkanakorn, said she launched the resort eight years ago when she was younger and carefree without kids.

"I'm a mother of two boys now, so I'm attuned to the need for parents to have some time to themselves on holiday," she said. "I recognised that Aleenta needed to do something to facilitate this, so I built the Aleenta Children's Club – my gift to parents and children.

"Parents can come to a cool boutique hideaway resort with the kids, rather than a big, impersonal resort, and still enjoy all the facilities that the Aleenta Phuket has to offer like they did before the little ones came along and know that the children are being taken care of in a state-of-the-art learning and development facility."

Environmental and marine conservation classes for kids are held at the resort's world-famous Turtle Sanctuary, which is championed by Ms Kijkanakorn's charity the Pure Blue Foundation.

In line with its proactive, innovative approach to the development of its youngest guests, Aleenta Phuket has introduced a new healthy, nutritional and delicious Kid's Menu through the Ayurah Wellness Centre.

So instead of the usual nuggets, burgers, fish fingers and the like served up at other resorts, Aleenta Phuket is offering homemade sugar free ice-cream, healthy cookies, fresh 100% fruit juices and much more.

The resort also actively promotes parents engaging in playtimes with very young children, showing them methods to get the most out of these precious moments.

Aleenta Children's Club is not just for guests. Local parents, including expats, are sending their kids to the club in increasing numbers after hearing about it effectiveness. It is also the only facility of its kind in the area that has an English teacher.

To mark the Aleenta Children's Club launch, the resort is offering the following three-night family experience:

• Three nights of luxurious accommodation in a two Bedroom Pool Residence for two adults and up to four children sharing.
• Daily gourmet breakfast for all of the family.
• Luxury return transfers from Phuket International Airport.
• Children activities, including painting and cooking classes at Aleenta Children's Club and access to the club every day of the stay.
• Phuket Trip for six hours of exploring and shopping with the Aleenta complimentary scheduled shuttle service.
• Complimentary private babysitting for four hours during the stay.
