Airtrain's Birthday Delivers Competitive, Reliable Service

Airtrain

Queenslands Airtrain is celebrating its first birthday with a renewed focus on the cost, convenience and reliability of Australias best airport transfer service.

Sales and Marketing Manager Greg Hand is currently doing the rounds of New Zealand travel agents to develop innovative packages that make Airtrain even more responsive to the needs of Kiwi visitors to Brisbane and the holiday playground of the Gold Coast.

The success of our first year is largely due to the support we have received from New Zealand travel agents, said Mr Hand. Kiwi travellers are big users of Airtrain because travel agents know the service they are recommending to their customers is the best value transfer available, and delivering their clients significant savings over taxis and coaches.

In fact, over the past year Airtrain has run on-time 99 percent of the time, which is exceptional for a service that operates up to four times per hour for over 15 hours per day, seven-days-a-week. Kiwis have come on board because they know Airtrain provides reliable and value-for-money airport transfers that get their Queensland holiday off to a hassle-free and low-cost start. Travellers are always looking for ways to get more out of their holiday dollar and you wont get a better deal than Airtrain.

Our research shows Kiwis keep coming back because it is a service they can rely on, and one they dont mind telling family and friends about, said Mr Hand.

New Zealand travellers can purchase Airtrain transfers at any local travel agent. And in a new development, Qantas Airways passengers dont even need an Airtrain ticket to transit between Brisbane Airports Domestic and International Terminals. Their Qantas boarding pass is a valid Airtrain transfer ticket which can be fed through the boarding pass reader at the Airtrain station.

For only $9 AUD per adult, $4.50 AUD per child or $22 AUD for a group of four, passengers arrive in the heart of Brisbane City in just 22 minutes. AirtrainConnect provides Gold Coast travellers with return rail transfers and coach shuttle service to the door of Gold Coast accommodation houses for only $25 AUD per adult, $15 AUD per child and $80 AUD for a group of four.

As part of Airtrains commitment to service excellence, passengers can arrange to be met by a customer service officer on arrival at Brisbane Airport to assist and direct them to the Brisbane or Gold Coast train. Travellers are advised to look for the Airtrain Information Booth located in the Qantas baggage pick-up area of Brisbane Airports Domestic Terminal or visit the Travellers Information Desk located in the Arrival Hall at the International Terminal for additional assistance.
