Air France Increases Its Fuel Surcharge As From 24 August 2004

Air France

Due to the steep rise in oil prices, Air France will be increasing its fuel surcharge by 2 euros per flight leg on domestic services and by 3 euros per leg on medium-haul services (Europe and North Africa).

On long-haul routes, where fuel accounts for a larger expense item, the surcharge will increase by 12 euros per flight leg, with the exception of flights to and from French Overseas Departments (Cayenne, Fort-de-France, Pointe--Pitre, Runion) where it will amount to 10 euros per leg.

This increase, paid on all tickets issued as from 24 August 2004, will be dropped as soon as the crude price returns to below 35 dollars for over 30 consecutive days.
