AIC signed a 5 + 5-year lease on the Seasons d'Angkor Villa last month adding high-value, high-quality rooms to its seven affordable luxury hotel and resort group.  AIC also recently signed a nine-year lease on the popular 12-room The Sanctuary Villa hotel in Battambang, 292 km from Phnom Penh and inland from the Thai border.

Adding to its portfolio of affordable boutique hotels and resorts, the unique 10-room Java Wooden Villa hotel in Siem Reap was opened by Asia Initiative Corporation Plus (AICPlus) late last year. The two story Java Wooden Villa reflects traditional Khmer architecture with ancient recycled timbers and handcrafted wooden filigree complemented by 'Manhattan' style modern design and luxury appointments.

The Java Wooden Villa hotel complements the Bong Thom homestay, also managed by AIC, which provides a unique community-based village life experience in traditional Khmer housing set among mango and dragon fruit orchards, a purpose-built fish farm, and rice fields.

Employing 262 people, AIC has surged from one hotel to seven and project managed the opening of four additional properties during the past two years.  It has also introduced a second brand, AICPlus+, with its management of the opening of the Alison Angkor Boutique Hotel, and Java Wooden Villa both in Siem Reap.
