Ahoy Mateys - A Second Solent Fort Is Now Taking Bookings

AmaZing Venues

No Man's Fort; a man-made island in the middle of the Solent, will open its doors on March 26th after undergoing an extensive renovation.

The hotly anticipated opening of the second of the of three forts owned by AmaZing Venues, No Man's Fort is now taking bookings for day trips guests and overnight stays.

No Man's Fort lunch experiences start from just £99 per person for four courses and includes return boat transfers from Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth. Delicacies which are often served as part of the set menu include mackerel which is actually caught right off the side of the fort – guests cannot get more locally sourced than that.

For those wanting to extend the magic of the fort for longer than a lunch can now book an overnight experience on full board from just £450 per room per night. The overnight package includes a four course lunch experience, a welcome glass of champagne and a tot of rum too to steady guests' sea legs.  After overnighting in one of the 22 luxury bedrooms, guests will enjoy a full English breakfast before departing back to Portsmouth.

Built between 1867 and 1880 to protect Portsmouth from Napoleon III, No Man's Fort is the larger sister venue to Spitbank Fort which opened in 2012 and soon established itself as the party venue of choice for discerning guests.

The new fort will be able to host larger events; catering for 200 people and will have 22 bedrooms. The exciting developments include two helicopter pads for private use, a nightclub, laser tag, games rooms, snooker room, meeting space, rooftop hot-pool, glass- floored lighthouse, gallery restaurant, wine bar and spa facilities with signature sea salt treatments where the salt is sourced from just five metres away.
