The African Travel & Tourism Association (Atta) has launched its Media Awards for the second year running to recognise the best travel journalism in 2017 and 2018 and highlight the exciting and diverse travel experiences available across the African continent.
The awards cover a range of online, offline, trade, consumer and blogger categories, as well as an Outstanding Award for Contribution to African Travel chosen by the judges. With four categories sponsored by Avis, Atta has also added a new award for this year 'Best International Article' celebrating the global appeal of Africa.

We want to build on this and provide an even stronger voice for the African tourism sector in the UK and Ireland by raising awareness of our amazing continent.”
He added: “Following on from the great response last year, we hope to increase the number of entries for 2018 and are urging as many UK based journalists and bloggers to submit their entries as soon as possible.”
