African Bush Camps: Zimbabwe

African Bush Camps

African Bush Camps was born out of a desire to reclaim the authentic safari experience. Beks Ndlovu, owner and CEO of African Bush Camps, had a dream to create a portfolio of camps which not only reincarnated the fantasy of ‘Old Untouched Africa’ but also focused on the guest experience and the essence of a great safari: exceptional guides.

The company passionately believes that guides and hosts in Africa are the key to making a safari the most memorable African experience. Their professional guides will ensure that through their knowledge and experience, they unravel a wilderness adventure.

African Bush Camps runs a number of safari properties and operations in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana.  These facilities enable guests to experience an authentic view of the ‘Old Untouched Africa’, with minimal impact on the environment whilst enjoying the best wildlife encounters.

Through their social responsibility programme, African Bush Camps Foundation, they partner with communities located in vulnerable wildlife areas in order to improve their quality of life and achieve long-term conservation through programmes focusing on education, conservation, community infrastructure and community empowerment. By directly linking these benefits to tourism these communities learn to positively value wildlife and nature as a resource for improving their well-being.

Tourism will play a key role in Zimbabwe’s resurgence. African Bush Camps, as the country’s leading safari operator, is committed to ensuring that they continue to offer a tourism experience focused on conserving Africa’s wildlife and wilderness areas whilst benefitting and empowering local communities.

Press and Influencer Trips will be run in order that the media can experience an authentic African Bush Camps safari and learn first-hand of the conservation and community work that takes place.
