New research by Halifax Financial Services reveals that, whilst the recent significant fall in the value of the pound against the euro and the dollar has increased the cost of many traditional destinations for UK holidaymakers, a number of 'alternative' holiday destinations have become more affordable over the same period as the pound has risen in value against a number of currencies. -Ends-
