A new South Korea Discovery tour (11 days) is featured in the newly released Adventure World India & Asia Tailor-Made Collection 2016/17.
The eleven days/ten nights tour has departures daily from Korea's capital city Seoul and takes in the highlights of the country's most popular destinations and attractions.
The tour visits the DMZ on the border between South & North Korea as well as the spectacular Seoraksan National Park on the east coast. Seoraksan is the number one national park in Korea to visit with its stunning granite outcrops and mountains that come down to the East Sea.
UNESCO World Heritage sites in Andong and Gyeongju, the capital of the ancient Shilla kingdom are full of Korea's history and culture. The beautiful Bulguksa Temple in Gyeongju as well as the Seokguram Grotto Buddha are some of the most visited sites in the country.
The tour visits the southern seaport of Busan with its amazing Jagalchi seafood market, one of the largest in Asia and a great place to enjoy the huge variety of seafood.
Jeju Island is the final stop on the tour with sightseeing including the famous women divers museum, the volcanic crater of Sunrise Peak which juts out into the ocean and the many caves and lava tubes to be explored on the island.
The private tour includes ten night's accommodation, meals as indicated, sightseeing, flights and train travel as specified in the itinerary, the services of a private car and driver and local English speaking guide. The tour is priced from $5,339 twin share per person.
