Flybe, one of Europes leading low cost airlines has announced that it is now offering advanced seat assignment to travel agents through Galileo and Sabre GDS systems.
As the only low cost airline to be available through the GDS, Flybe is delighted to add the facility to offer pre assigned seating to agents. Those passengers who choose to pre-book their seat prior to travel will incur a nominal charge of 16 per sector for emergency/bulk head seats and 8 per sector for all other seats. These charges will be taken by the travel agent on booking and will be commissionable.
Economy Plus passengers will be able to pre-book their seats free of charge and any passenger who does not choose to pre-book their seat will still be allocated a seat at check-in according to Flybes passenger policy.
Says Mike Rutter, Sales and Marketing Director Flybe, Advanced seat booking for our passengers is another example of our ongoing commitment to provide first class, low fares for travellers across the UK. The facility to book your seat in advance with Flybe through the GDS is an added benefit to make travelling less stressful and more enjoyable.
Some restrictions do apply - see www.flybe.com for more details.
