Adria Airways Opens New Cargo Route Between Ljubljana And Frankfurt

Adria Airways

Adria Airways has begun flying its new cargo route between Ljubljana and Frankfurt. This is Adria's second cargo route; the first was opened this September between Ljubljana and Sarajevo. Flights between Frankfurt and Sarajevo take place three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Adria has leased a Turbolet L-410 cargo aircraft capable of transporting 1.5 tons to serve this route. This new route makes it possible for shipments from Frankfurt to Ljubljana and Sarajevo to be delivered in a single morning.

The aircraft arrives in Frankfurt at 9:00 pm, which means that shipments destined for North American or Asian destinations can be sent out the same evening toward their final destination. This schedule also means that Adria is able to receive all shipments that arrive overnight on intercontinental flights. The flight from Frankfurt arrives in Ljubljana at 8:30 am and offers good connections to flights to Adria's destinations in Southeast Europe. This means that cargo can now be sent in a single day from Frankfurt to Podgorica, Skopje and Pritina, and cargo received there can be delivered to Frankfurt the same day.
