Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

Enjoy a whole month of free and fun fitness activities at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park this July. Whether you're young or old, a seasoned athlete or in it just for fun there will be something for everyone from football and yoga to rowing and all ability cycling. Where better to get moving and enjoy the outdoors than the iconic former Olympic Park, where records were broken and medals were won during London 2012 and where the star-studded Müller Anniversary Games returns on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 July.

All abilities, all ages, all free – get involved!

All month long, there will be opportunities to try out a variety of free sports at the Park. Chill in the shade of the trees during a yoga class, challenge yourself and your friends to take on a HIIT bootcamp, hone your football skills with a coaching session, experience an all ability accessible cycling session, try out the Brazilian martial art of Capoeira, exercise with your baby during a buggy fit class or simply enjoy a run through the iconic parklands.

Visit International Quarter London's Endeavour Square to experience what it's like for the pros in the Wimbledon and Tour de France simulators and slip on your dancing shoes to learn ceilidh or swing. Try out a mountain bike or road track session at Lee Valley VeloPark and set free your inner Andy Murray with a game of tennis at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre.

And why not take to the water to try out some canoeing or rowing from the brand new pontoon in the south of the Park. Activities on the water will form part of London's National Park City Splash Festival on 27 and 28 July, a celebration of everything being done to make London's landscape, ecology and culture enjoyable.

Festival of Athletics and Müller Anniversary Games

And as the summer sun heats up, so too will the action at the Park. From 18 to 21 July take part in UK Athletics' Festival of Athletics – a series of activities centred around the famous London Stadium. Women are invited to complete a Couch to 5k where your run will take you around the Park and onto the stadium track to finish. Whether you're chasing a 5k personal best or simply aiming to try something new, the brilliant race day atmosphere will make this the perfect event for you – plus every entrant will receive a free ticket to the final day of the Müller Anniversary Games! There will also be a chance for local schools to take part in the Müller Sports Day or the London Borough Connect Relays where stars of the future will race on the stadium track.

And end the weekend with a bang watching some of the world's top track and field athletes compete in the stadium as the Müller Anniversary Games returns. Relive the magic of London 2012 as Yohan Blake, the second fastest man in history over 100m, and triple Olympic medallist, Andre De Grasse, take to the track alongside Britain's top athletes including European champion, Zharnel Hughes and silver medallist Reece Prescod.
