Accor

AccorHotels announced earlier today that it has joined the Paris 2024 Bid Committee as an Official Partner. As the world's leading hotel operator with an international brand portfolio spanning the full spectrum from economy to luxury, AccorHotels will harness its teams' wealth of skills and expertise to support the city's Olympic bid.

“We are a key player in France's tourism sector and proud to stand behind Paris' bid for the 2024 Olympics and Paralympics. This project will bring people together and mirrors the values we embrace on a daily basis: hospitality, diversity, daring and self-surpassing. And Paris 2024 is a fantastic opportunity to show that France is an appealing, vibrant country that shines bright on the international scene!” said AccorHotels CEO Sébastien Bazin.

AccorHotels has more than 600 hotels - under the HotelF1, ibis budget, ibis Styles, ibis, adagio, Mama Shelter, Mercure, Novotel, Pullman, MGallery by Sofitel and Sofitel brands – in Paris and the 8 other cities that will host Olympics events.

Its solid countrywide network and the dedication of its 30,000 employees in France will put the Group in a position to treat audiences and athletes to its outstanding service throughout the competition.

The values that sports fosters – excellence and self-surpassing – make it one of the endeavors that AccorHotels is proud to endorse, and explain the Group's longstanding support for various federations and tournaments including the Tour de France, French Football Federation, French Golf Federation and Roland-Garros.

In 2015, the Group took one step further by pairing its name and core business with a venue that hosts a large number of top-level sports competitions, the AccorHotels Arena. In the Paris 2024 bid, this venue has been selected for the judo events, basketball finals, and the basketball Paralympics.

Endorsing the Paris 2024 bid is also AccorHotels' way of stepping up its commitment to furthering France's distinctive brand of hospitality on every front, and to attracting the spotlight onto France and its capital city.
