Meanwhile, ardent lovers of art can assemble at the National Gallery of Victoria to see masterpieces from the 'father of French Impressionism' Claude Monet. Visitors will experience every facet of Monet's picturesque garden at Giverny, northern France, including his iconic waterlily paintings. Monet's Garden opens from 10 May and runs until 8 September 2013 with more than fifty artworks from Paris' Musée Marmottan Monet, home to the largest collection of Monet's works in the world.
