Accor Asia Pacific has appointed Karen Chang as the Communications Manager for Asia Pacific, based in its Singapore office. Karen was formerly the Marketing Communications Manager for PARKROYAL on Beach Road, where she handled the property's public relations and marketing communications for the hotel.
Born in Malaysia and raised in Australia, she has been with the hospitality industry for eight years in Singapore in the areas of PR, marketing and communications with various hotels and she also spent a short stint with government bodies including the Economic Development Board of Singapore and Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore. She was also previously with TTG Asia Media where she handled the communications and travel trade exhibitions and events held within the Asia Pacific region.
Her role with Accor Asia Pacific will be to manage communications for the group's growing network of hotels, which currently sits at 565 properties across 16 countries.
