The award-winning Shadowland by the dance theatre Pilobulos is running at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from 8 – 16 August 2014.
- The first show of its kind to combine shadow theatre with dance, which has since inspired similar products around the world
- Shadowland is a mix of shadow theatre, dance, circus and concert, incorporating multiple moving screens of different sizes and shapes in a performance that merges projected images and front-of-screen choreography, organised by The Alchemy Project-Entertainment.

The contemporary circus theatrical La Verità is running at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from 21 – 31 August 2014.
- Featuring the original painting appearing for the first time in the Middle East by the Spanish surrealist painter Salvador Dali
- La Verità (The Truth) is a theatrical homage to Dali's life and work. It was written and is directed by the acclaimed Daniele Finzi Pasca – the creative genius behind Cirque du Soleil's Corteo and the closing ceremony of the Sochi Olympics.

World renowned illusionist David Blaine will perform at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi from 21 – 23 August 2014.
- David Blaine will make his Middle Eastern debut in Abu Dhabi this summer.
- Best known for his feats of endurance, as well as craft street tricks, expect a show full of incredible illusion and death defying escapades.

New “Seeing Through Light” exhibition will be held at the Manarat Al Saadiyat centre on Yas Island from 5 November – 19 January 2015
- Will offer the first glimpse of artworks acquired for the new Guggenheim Abu Dhabi collection ahead of the museum's 2017 opening
- Featuring the work of 18 artists from the 1960s to the present day exploring the theme of light
- The exhibition introduces Guggenheim Abu Dhabi's curatorial vision through a theme-based collection presentation and will also feature public programmes, film screenings, adult and youth workshops, and performances by several leading contemporary artists whose works are now part of the museum's permanent collection

For art enthusiasts, Abu Dhabi Art returns to the Saadiyat Cultural District from 5-8 November 2014, with fascinating displays of modern and contemporary art from the world's best galleries.
- A collection of museum quality art from partner galleries, with a wide variety of installations and sculptures.
- New for this year is the Artists' Waves sector, which highlights the importance of discovery and re-discovery of artists.
