JUDICIAL REVIEW. ABTA is aiming to meet the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) in the coming weeks to produce detailed guidance to Members about the impact of the decision in the judicial review case (see ABTA Today 16 January 2006). Members are advised to await further guidance and to obtain full advice on their specific business situation before making any changes to their bonding or trading arrangements. ABTA/OFFICE OF FAIR TRADING (OFT) ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN. Full details of the advertising campaign launched last week to promote ABTA's Code of Conduct receiving OFT approval, are available at www.abtamembers.org/oftcampaign.htm. To apply to use the OFT/ABTA Approved logo, Members need to sign page 12 of the licence agreement and return the full document to the ABTA Legal Department. CODE OF CONDUCT GUIDANCE: LEGAL IDENTITY. Members should note that when publishing a brochure, they should clearly state their full legal identity. This will be the full company name, or the names of the partners or proprietor of the business. This is a requirement of paragraph 2 of ABTA's Standards on Brochures which form part of the Code of Conduct. ANNUAL REPORT. All Members were recently sent a copy of ABTA's Annual Report & Financial Highlights for the year ended 30 June 2005. ABTA HEALTH ADVICE FOR CONSUMERS. As advised in previous issues of ABTA Today, the ABTA Tropical Healthline has now been withdrawn. There are a number of travel health advice services available to consumers, including the National Health Service (via GPs' surgeries) and private travel health clinics.
