ABSOLUTE SANCTUARY WELCOMES INTERNATIONAL TRAVELLERS BACK TO KOH SAMUI

Effective 11th January 2022, the Thai government has reopened Samui Island to travellers via the Samui Sandbox program.

Through the sandbox program, fully vaccinated travellers will now be able to enter into Koh Samui  with the following procedures:

• Book a minimum of a 7-day stay in a SHA + Hotel
• Book an airplane ticket with either a direct flight into Samui International Airport or via a sealed route. A sealed route is a flight that enters Thailand via Suvarnabhumi International Airport (Bangkok) and connects directly to Koh Samui ( immigration is cleared in Koh Samui) .The approved sealed route flights are PG 5171 and PG 5125
• Purchase medical insurance with a coverage of no less than US$50,000
• Book & pay for 2 RT-PCR tests ( thailandpass.com) to be conducted upon arrival and on Day 5-6 ( cost of Bt 4,200 for 2 tests)
• Apply for a Thailand pass 7-10 days before travel at https://tp.consular.go.th/ where you would need to submit confirmed payment of stay at a SHA+ hotel, your air ticket, vaccination certificate , confirmed payment of the 2 RT-PCR tests and a valid visa ( if applicable)       
• Undergo a RT-PCR test no more than 72 hours before travelling

Upon arrival and clearance of the necessary tests and immigration formalities, our driver will be at the airport to pick arriving guests up. Guests will need to quarantine in their room , awaiting the results of their RT-PCR test.  Once negative, they will be able to enjoy all activities and facilities at the resort.
