a Weekend Walking Break With a Difference!

Large Outdoors

A day's rambling followed by a murder on-board a steam train is in the offing during a weekend's break organised by UK guided walking specialist Large Outdoors.

The weekend starts sedately enough with a 10-mile guided walk on the Saturday following some of the most beautiful off-the-beaten tracks across the rugged North York Moors.

Then things turn more murderous as guests board the North Yorkshire Moors Railway's Pullman dining car and witness a murder mystery that would do Agatha Christie proud as the steam train trundles across the moors.

However amid all the drama, guests can be reassured that they can still satisfy their post-walking hunger pangs  by enjoying a lavish four-course meal as the whodunit unravels before their eyes.

To calm things down a bit, another day's exploring in the National Park is in the offing on the Sunday.

The weekend runs from Friday 12th June to 14th June and costs £225 per person including all meals, two days' walking with a qualified guide and two nights' accommodation at YHA in Dalby Forest, a 'tucked-away' billet in the heart of the North York Moors National Park.
