Cathay Pacific will welcome visitors to this year's AIME in Melbourne (21-22 February) on the biggest stand in the history of the event - the massive 270 square metre "Meeting and Events Hong Kong" (MEHK) display.
The airline's team will be on hand to talk about Cathay Pacific's new Business Class, as well as its soon to be released new Premium Economy and Economy cabins.
According to Richiko Olrichs, marketing communications manager, Cathay Pacific Australia, the airline has a long held relationship and commitment to Australia.
"Australia was the first market in the world to enjoy our new highly-acclaimed flat bed in business class on the Sydney-Hong Kong route, and soon other ports around the country will see the stylish new seat," she said.
"And so next month travellers out of Sydney will be among the very first in the world to see our exciting new Premium Economy and Economy cabins."
Olrichs believes the airline is an ideal partner for any organisation in the MICE market.
"We fly into and out of six major cities in Australia including Cairns and with over 70 flights a week, we have the flexibility in our schedule to offer a breadth of flights to suit passengers' needs. Beyond Hong Kong, we have a network of over 145 destinations including those across Asia with our sister airline Dragonair.
"In addition to major destinations in Europe London and Paris, we fly to Amsterdam, Milan, Rome, Frankfurt and even Moscow and for those with an interest in China, Dragonair and Cathay Pacific together have an exceptional network and frequency of services with more than 400 flights a week out of Hong Kong to more than 18 destinations on the mainland," she said.
The team from Cathay Pacific will not be alone on the massive MEHK stand - they will be joined by 33 other Hong Kong exhibitors.
