The stargazing break at Eriska is available from £400 per person and includes a two stay with dinner served in the recently retained Michelin-starred restaurant. Head Chef Paul Leonard serves up gourmet cuisine in the restaurant; using raw materials from the island. Eriska also has a smokehouse, keep pigs and quail, and the team have even been known to go out fishing themselves.
The Isle of Eriska hotel is located on its own 300 acre private island, with five-star accommodation in the main hotel; visitors also have the option to upgrade to one of two hilltop reserves on the island, located away from the main hotel, with a private hot tub on the terrace and stunning views over the island.
The island is so remote that is connected to the mainland only by vehicle bridge. This means that stargazers on the Isle of Eriska are lucky enough to see more than just Orion's belt on a good night. Argyll has little light pollution, and so guests can easily see the stars, planets and the occasional satellite passing on a clear night. At Eriska guests can enjoy stargazing in one of the few places left with true dark skies. Whilst on the stargazers break at Eriska, guests will be treated to afternoon tea, a hot flask and star map to help them locate the constellations at night.
Visitors can also visit the new Stables Spa on the island: where they can relax with a variety of Ishga and ESPA treatments. The Stables Spa treatment rooms are designed to reflect different parts of the island; with some sea inspired to represent the untouched coastline. The Isle of Eriska also benefits from having a second Deck restaurant; located above the spa; for more casual dining.
Guests to the Isle of Eriska can take part in other activities, including clay pigeon shooting; archery; water sports; fishing; and endless walks along the islands beach.
The stargazing break at The Isle of Eriska starts from £400 per person, including DBB for two nights, afternoon tea, a hot flask and a star map.
