New for 2010, Coco Palm Bodu Hithi has announced the launch of its very own sushi bar at the exclusive Stars restaurant. Opening in January 2010, the restaurant will offer guests an alternative taste of Asia with an appetising menu of fresh Japanese dishes.

Located in the exclusive Stars restaurant perched above the ocean with mesmerizing views, the sushi bar will offer an extensive menu of delicious dishes including Japanese salads, sushi and fresh fish for lunch and dinner. Using traditional Japanese flavours and ingredients, the menu has been created by Chef Jesus Manuel Cobarrubias and will feature specialities including:

Bodu Hithi salad of grilled prawn, seaweed, leaves and sprouts with a shoyu, chilli, lemongrass and coconut dressing $19.50 Octopus Suno Mono with a sweet vinegar dressing $15.00 A selection of eight- and three-piece meat, fish and vegetarian sushi dishes from $7.50 Ojyu style dinner set featuring beef tenderloin Katsu ($27.00), grilled eel with Japanese pepper Unagi ($27.00) and prawn tempura $28.00 all served with Miso soup and pickles Desserts include Green Tea sorbet ($12.00), Asuki Shiratama ($14.00) and fresh mango sticky rice ($14.50) among others.
