The five star Isle of Eriska Hotel, Spa and Island, located just off the West Coast Highlands of Scotland is excited to announce their Winter Wine Weekend taking place with Taittinger Champagne on Friday 15th November. Guests are invited for the ultimate weekend of Champagne and Michelin starred gastronomy on the picturesque Scottish island, combining the best wines from the French vineyards and cellars with the finest food from the gardens, hills and waters of Scotland.
The two night stay will include a champagne tasting masterclass on the Saturday afternoon with Mark O'Bryan, Taittinger Ambassador and one of the 250 Masters of Wine around the world; followed by a gastronomic dinner accompanied by specially selected wines and champagnes, cooked up by talented Michelin starred chef Ross Stovold.
On Ross Stovold's menu, guests can expect to find a variety of mouth-watering starters and main courses, with one fish from the surrounding waters, a meat dish from the hills surrounding the island, and a final vegetarian alternative inspired by one of the gardens or larders close to hand. Ross's dishes have been inspired by the natural larder surrounding the island.
The rest of the weekend, guests are free to indulge in some rest and relaxation and enjoy the unique experience of being on this romantic and tranquil, picture perfect island. They can wrap up warm and enjoy long strolls along with beach to do some otter spotting; play some golf, or take a dip in the indoor heated pool. There is also a sauna and steam room and for ultimate indulgence, an ESPA Spa.
