The Tourism Society has announced an inspiring panel line up for the 2017 Media Masterclass. With Henry Hemming, Managing Director, TravMedia in the chair PRs, Content Creators and journalists attending this lively annual event can benefit from the experience of Laura Jackson, Commissioning Editor of Women's Own; Hugh Morris, Content Editor at Telegraph Travel; Will Hide, Travel writer for the Times, FT and other national travel magazines; digital influencer, Mrs. O Around the World (aka Ana Silva O'Reilly) and Jo Fletcher-Cross, ABTA Magazine editor and contributing editor of National Geographic Traveller (UK).
With the lines between traditional roles continuing to blur the panel will discuss how best to develop the relationship between PRs, Bloggers and Content Creators, analysing the shifts in roles and responsibilities as the industry continues on its digital evolution into a world of content marketing and distribution. Discussions will examine how the media landscape is changing and how mixed skill-sets and disciplines come together to help travel and tourism companies stand out and reach a wider audience; how businesses can build the most productive relationship with journalists across all media platforms and how to make an impact with Instagram and pinterest and what is the role of storytelling to making brands more compelling?
Taking place at the impressive Trinity House, opposite the Tower of London, this event organised by The Tourism Society in association with Travmedia with partners Pinterest and International Hospitality Media promises to be a stimulating and informative event for anyone interested in the future of PR and marketing.
