A New Flight Path: From Glaciers To Glorious Beaches

Journey Latin America

Specialist tour operator Journey Latin America are excited to share the launch of Air Europa's new flight path from London to Chile, via Salvador in Brazil due to start on 30th March 2014.

The Air Europa flights will operate three days a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Sundays to the Chilean capital of Santiago. Travellers will need to depart from Gatwick and change planes in Madrid for the connecting flight to Santiago. En route to Santiago Air Europa will touchdown in Salvador, Brazil allowing travellers to have a stopover which in most cases will be permitted free of charge depending on the fare.

Fares start at £500 in economy and £2,060 in business.

This new flight route coincides brilliantly with our Highlights of Chile itinerary - opening up a stop in the African heartbeat of Brazil, Bahía laden with glorious sandy beaches. South of Salvador backed by cacao plantations and punctuated with colonial style towns and villages are a string of former hippy districts which are now beautiful, rustic areas popular among Brazilians.

"We're really excited about this new route as it will allow travellers to combine a holiday to the breathtaking windswept landscapes of Patagonia with a beach wind down on Brazil's stunning palm-fringed northeast coast." Product Manager, David Nichols.
