When former lawyer Philippa Shelley Jones took her three children to Westminster Abbey, she was impressed with how the activity program rewarded them with giant gold chocolate coins.  Five years on, the germ of an idea that came to her then has been launched as KID TRACKS, an unique new App to engage children in sight-seeing, turning mobile devices into instruments of fun and learning.

KID TRACKS is a free App, which offers tailored multiple-choice activity 'Tracks' for museums, galleries and local attractions in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra, each available for 99c, with cute options such as taking a virtual pet along for the adventure. Children receive digital reward points for participating, working their way towards certificates and ongoing fabulous prizes.

Philippa Shelley Jones plans to expand the offering over time, to include sites in all major Australian cities, before looking at globalising the App. 

The Kid Tracks App is available now in the App store for iPhone, iPad and iPod.
