A Double Helping of Confectionery Talent for York's Chocolate Story

York

York's Chocolate Story is pleased to announce the appointment of two new chocolatiers: Andrew Carnall and Bryony Jepson.

Andy has relocated to York from Sheffield where he was head baker at an artisan bakery. Originally trained as a pastry chef, Andy branched out into chocolate and won the prestigious Keylink Student Chocolatier of the Year in 2014. His specialty lies in molded truffles and centerpieces. He also hopes to break a chocolate world record in the future, so watch this space!

Bryony is an expert on the full chocolate making process from bean to bar. She plans to use this knowledge to create some show stopping works of edible art and is excited to have the opportunity to exhibit these skills to our visitors.

Andy and Bryony will be demonstrating the art of chocolate making live to visitors on guided tours, as well as running the on-site production kitchen where they will be creating delicious fresh confectionery daily which will be available to purchase in the shop. They will also be responsible for producing specialty orders such as chocolate wedding cakes and bespoke favours.

Nikola Jacobs, General Manager of York's Chocolate Story says:

“We are thrilled to have Andy and Bryony join us here at York's Chocolate Story. With their wealth of experience they are sure to make a fantastic addition to the team and I look forward to seeing and tasting their future creations.”
