When deciding on the country of your next international family adventure, Japan is always a strong contender as there are endless options the whole family can enjoy. With easy access on the shinkansen route between Tokyo and Kyoto, making a stop-over in Aichi’s LEGOLAND® Japan Resort to discover your inner LEGO® master is easy to add to any itinerary – even if you only have one day to spare! We have put together a one-day itinerary for you to enjoy a day at the only LEGO theme park in the whole of Japan.

AM
LEGOLAND® offers a range of attractions for kids of all ages (and adults), including a long list of fun rides, games, a cinema, a DUPLO® play area for smaller children and even an aquarium.

Kids can become LEGO® masters at the Creative Workshop, where there are six workshops suitable for all ages, from beginner building and robotic programming classes to more advanced options. Some of the workshops include ‘Simple Machines’ (ages 3-6), ‘Robotics for Young Beginners’ (ages 7-9) and the ‘LEGO® Boost Workshop’ (ages 7-12) where they will start with a simple readymade robot and combine their own design and programming to build their very own unique robot.

LUNCH
When lunch time comes around, there are countless options within the park from LEGO® chips, churros and even colourful LEGO® sandwiches to classic burgers, pizza and fried chicken.

PM
Take an afternoon tour of the LEGO® factory and learn the history of the internationally loved toys. Not only will you see them in the making but at the end of your tour you will be given a fresh piece of LEGO® right off the production line as a souvenir to take home.

The aquarium within LEGOLAND® is called Sea Life Nagoya - where kids can get close up to a range of sea creatures, including sharks, stingrays, goldfish, seahorses, giant octopi and more. There are ten areas within the aquarium to explore, including rock pools for kids to touch some of the creatures and a stingray zone that has special shows for visitors to enjoy.
Before you end your visit to LEGOLAND®, don’t forget to drop into Miniland, where you can see 10 of Japan’s iconic locations from all over the country recreated by more than 10,496,352 LEGO® pieces.
