Martin has had an extensive and successful career, having being a major contributor to the success of three high profile restaurants. His fresh and unique approach has achieved him a high level of respect amongst his customers and peers. Inspired by the book Babel from a restaurant set in a property called Babylonstoren in the rolling mountains of the vineyards of Franschhoek. This sparked his passion to visit and see how they have made such an interesting format for growing fruit and vegetables.
Enjoy two days in Johannesburg, three days in Cape Town for unsurpassable eating and shopping experiences, onto Babylonstoren for an incredible two day culinary experience, then four days in Franschhoek at Le Quartier Français, where you will forage on the land, cook, and taste the best food and wine ever! And enjoy the hospitality of some local friends.
And to end this fabulous adventure, we head to the bush for one of the finest safari experiences in South Africa. Staying four nights at the Molori Safari Lodge set within the Madikwe Game Reserve.
Molori was chosen because of the interiors and culinary focus of the trip, it has the greatest interior design and art collection of any safari lodge in South Africa. It also has a spectacular chef and they are famed for their culinary safari which is an absolute feast.
The icing on the cake – it is a malaria free area so no malaria pills required!
