Mount Haven

Retreat to West Cornwall to soak up the last of the summer with a lazy weekend away at Mount Haven. Here, guests can enjoy plenty of downtime, delicious food and stunning views in one of the most beautiful spots in Cornwall.

The Late Summer Sleepover includes two nights in one of the hotel's comfortable rooms, followed by a hearty Cornish breakfast each morning. After a day exploring, small plates from the Terrace Bar Menu can be enjoyed on the outdoor terrace, the perfect spot to watch the changing tides and sun set over the Mount. On Sunday, a traditional Sunday Lunch will also be provided, lovingly cooked by head chef, Ross Sloan, and his team.

The hotel is an ideal base to enjoy all that this untouched part of Cornwall has to offer in late summer – from the famous St Michael's Mount, steeped in rich history and mythology, to the South West Coast Path, revealing hidden coves, golden sanded beaches and historical mine stacks. Guests can head to the Mount via the cobbled causeway or boat, where they can roam the stunning gardens and village, absorb the sweeping views across the bay and make a pit stop at the island's café or restaurant. Marazion's sandy beach is just a short walk from the hotel, where guests can soak up the last of the summer sun.

Also new are the hotel's 'Sunday Sessions' – a time to sit back, relax and enjoy drinks, small plates and live music from local bands and musicians in the terrace bar. A host of acts including Devon-based singer, Ellie McCall, dance classics DJ, DJ Robbo and alternative pop/folk rock band, Boundless Brothers, are set to play – all served with a side of Cornish sunshine.

The Late Summer Sleepover at Mount Haven is priced from £340 based on two people sharing and is available on the 31st August and 1st September 2019.

The Sunday Sessions will be held on selected dates throughout September 2019.
