12 Feb 2015
Today is the day of Paradiski's Sky Diner. This unique experience will invite 36 holidaymakers who have been randomly selected to share a feast of French cuisine on the 12th February. The setting? The two cabins of the iconic Vanoise Express cable car. The lucky diners will be suspended between the stations of Arcs/Peisey-Vallandry and la Plagne in Savoie, France. and will be served up a “Cuisine de Montagne” with a modern twist by the chef, Stéphane Froidevaux.
The recent generous snowfall and fine weather predictions promise an exceptional evening for the 36 Sky Diner guests who will be suspended 380 metres above ground with their heads in the stars. Stéphane Froidevaux, the Michelin starred chef of Le Fantin Latour in Grenoble will create an imaginative menu for the occasion. Together with his sous chef they will rise to the challenge working in a 3x3m pop-up kitchen at the end of each cabin.
The dinner guests will comprise people spending their holidays in Paradiski whose names have been selected at random. They will board the two Vanoise Express cabins – which will be styled like glamorous restaurants - at 2000 hours for an unforgettable hour-and-a-half voyage between the two stations above the Ponthurin Valley.
The 36 participants don't know who they are yet but come 12th February they will be part of this unique experience in the skies above Paradiski.
Free of rights photos and TV images will be available for download just after the event on Thursday, 12th February 2015.
