Holiday lettings agency Best of Suffolk have just had their busiest summer, accommodating guests right across the county all the way from Long Melford to Aldeburgh. During the agencies peak period, they have had all sorts of requests from people booking their holiday in Suffolk; here are eight of their strangest: 1. CAN WE BRING OUR PARROT?

Yes of course, as long as your parrot is kept in it's cage, we wouldn't want you to lose your parrot on Aldeburgh or Southwold beach, the seagulls might get jealous of it's colourful personality!

2. CAN I BRING MY SNAKE?

It's not often that we find a property that is willing to accept a slimy snake, perhaps ask a close friend or family member to look after your snake for you.

3. CAN WE HIRE A HOT TUB TO BE DELIVERED?

No problem at all, as long as the property you're staying in has sufficient outdoor space, there's no reason why you can't hire a hot tub – we'd have to check with the owner first though!

4. CAN I BRING MY HORSE?

Horses need space, so we wouldn't want you to squeeze your gelding or mare into a tiny garden. However, we do have certain properties that are ideal for bringing your horse on holiday with you, the beautiful Stable Cottage at the Grove in Great Glemham is a perfect option, with livery available for two horses, along with the spacious Castle view in Bungay with private stabling.

5. ARE WE ABLE TO HIRE A BOUNCY CASTLE?

If there's space in the garden or surrounding areas and the owner of the property is happy for you to do so, we have no objections to bouncy castles being popped up for birthdays and parties.

6. CAN WE GET MARRIED IN THE PROPERTY?

Yes, of course! What a wonderful decision to get married in Suffolk. The stunning suites available at Bruisyard Hall would make your special day even more special. 

7. IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE A DAILY CHEF?

This isn't something that we offer at the majority of our properties but a daily chef can be arranged when staying at the grand Sibton Park for an additional cost.

8. CAN YOU REMOVE ALL SPIDERS FROM THE PROPERTY?

Our housekeepers try their upmost to make sure that the property is as spider free as possible but due to some of our properties being in the countryside, it's tricky to ensure the property is completely spider free. There may be some 8-legged friends hiding somewhere – remember they're more stayed of you, than you are of them! NOTES TO EDITORS
