La Paz to Quito via the Andes and Amazon 101 days departing 20th April. SAVE £1,750

Was £3500 now £1,750 plus kitty of US$4480.

Trip overview: Travelling from La Paz through to the wilds of the high Altiplano in Bolivia has always meant a journey through the Andes. But now Dragoman have introduced a new way to make the trip, which involves a massive detour across the width of the Amazon Jungle. We head from La Paz onto the wild Altiplano and into the beautiful mountains and glaciers of Chile. Most people who overland through Argentina and Brazil will travel along the stunning routes between Buenos Aires and Rio.

Along the way there is a vast amount to see whether it is the two cities themselves, the beautiful emerald coast, the pantanal or the powerful Iguazu Falls. But now for the very best bit and for something of a first: Dragoman has pioneered the route across the Amazon Jungle between Rio and Cuzco. Our new exploratory route cuts straight through the heart of Brazil's Amazon Jungle, crossing into the jungles of Peru and then climbing up the mighty Andes and onto the city of Cuzco, gateway to the Inca empire and the famous trail. From there we hug the Peruvian coastline taking in Colca Canyon, Arequipa and head on to Lima. The journey then takes us into the Ecuadorian Andes, through Cuenca and onto Quito.

Kunming to Beijing 37 days departing 13th April.  SAVE £875

Was £1750 now £875 per person plus kitty of US$1,340

Trip overview: Experience the many faces of China on this cross cultural journey from Beijing to the southern city of Kunming. Although this trip packs in all the cultural highlights of the region, the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, the imperial city of Chende and the Terracotta Warriors, it will particularly appeal to those who thrive on amazing scenery. You'll explore the mountain reserve of Wudang Shan, backdrop to Ang Lee's 'Crouching Tiger' film, see Pandas in Chengdu, take a Yangtze River Cruise, visit the gorgeous town of Lijiang with its minority cultures and stay in Dali finally finishing this trip in Kunming, Yunnan's laid-back capital.

Kathmandu to Xi'an 31 days departing 11th May. SAVE £800

Was £1600 now £800 per person plus kitty of US$950.

Trip overview: This is a journey across the 'Roof of the World', where you'll cross high mountain passes - up to 5000m, the highest plateau in the world, encounter an area infused with Tibetan culture before ending in China 'proper', with the Terracotta Warriors of Xi'an. Starting in Kathmandu en route for Tibet, you'll thread your way through the Himalayas. Truly, is there any better scenery on earth, we wonder? You'll see prayer flags snapping in the wind, visit monasteries with burgundy robed monks and witness a way of life unchanged for centuries. After arriving in Lhasa, the capital of Tibet, you'll see the Potala Palace and have plenty of free time to explore this magical city before heading out on a superb overland route, across the almost lunar landscape of the Tibetan Plateau and arriving in Golmud. The journey continues on to Qinghai Lake and the giant Buddha at Bingling Si before ending this rigorous and challenging trip with a luxurious hotel in Xi'an. Definitely a trip for landscape and culture lovers!
