06 Dec 2013
In 2014, Dorchester Collection's contemporary London hotel, 45 Park Lane, will offer guests the chance to celebrate the 86th Academy Awards® in true Hollywood style. A special red carpet menu, created by Wolfgang Puck will be featured at CUT, the celebrated chef's modern American steak restaurant and his debut restaurant in Europe. Puck has not only cooked for Hollywood legends but has also created the menu for the star-studded Governors Ball, immediately following the Academy Awards. This year will mark the 20th anniversary of Wolfgang catering Hollywood's biggest night.
The menu at CUT, which will appear as à la carte options alongside the standard menu, will include delectable dishes that can be ordered individually and that have been previously created especially for and served to Hollywood's elite at past awards galas. These dishes will include Smoked Salmon, Thai Chicken Salad, Steamed Red Snapper, Thai Spice Chicken Pot Pie, and Black Truffle Chocolate Soufflé with Chocolate. Dishes will be priced from £32 for a main course and from £11 for dessert.
The Oscar®-inspired Menu will be available both at CUT at 45 Park Lane and as part of the in-room dining menu from February 27th until March 2nd 2014, when the Academy Awards will be televised.
