• December 2016 /… The inaugural Adventure Travel Awards will be celebrated on the 19th January 2017 at the Adventure Travel 'Marketplace and Media day' and we need your nominations now! The Adventure Travel Awards have been created to recognise and reward the businesses and individuals who are dedicated to supporting, growing and promoting adventure travel - from tours operators of all sizes, through to travel agents, gear companies, DMOs, DMCs, publishers, accommodation, PR agencies and tourist boards. There are five categories up for grabs and it's FREE to enter!

Marketing Campaign

• This category awards a successful marketing campaign, be it B2B or B2C and whatever the budget and the channels used. This could be an acquisition, retention or brand awareness exercise and could be multichannel, social media, a competition or viral campaign

Innovation of the Year

• Looking for any innovation in adventure travel in its broadest sense; a new itinerary, trail, experience, transport, equipment/gear, technology or new way of marketing yourself

Giving Back

• Looking for an outstanding example of a tour operator or adventure travel provider giving something back; a community project, a conservation project, foundation or sponsorship

Best Travel Agent / Agency

• Seeking an outstanding individual or travel agency that has successfully promoted and increased interest in adventure travel to their clients. This can be self nominated or nominated by a tour operator, tourist board or other industry partner

Contribution to Adventure Travel

• This award recognises an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to adventure travel in its broadest sense. This cannot be self-nominated
