Specialist tour operator Journey Latin America is delighted to unveil their 2016 Group Tours brochure. The new brochure is the company's 36th annual edition and includes 29 comprehensive tours covering all of Central and South America, Cuba and Mexico.
The trips are divided into two categories; Classic Journeys and Discovery Journeys.
Classic Journeys visit the highlights in comfort and style. Discovery Journeys offer good quality, value for money holidays which give you an insight into the life, land and history of the region. Group sizes are small with a maximum number of 16 clients per tour
New tour additions include a Classic Journey in Ecuador and an exclusive Discovery Journey in Nicaragua.
Picaflor: Ecuador Back on Track starts in the Andean city of Quito and visits snow-capped Cotopaxi volcano before heading to Mindo cloud forest – a lush and serene environment ideal for bird watching. The last four days of the tour are spent travelling on board the trans-Andean railway, partially hauled by steam engine, from the high Andes to the coastal lowlands of Guayaquil. By day watch the breath-taking scenery from the panoramic windows before stopping for the night in local towns along the route.

Cotinga: Off the Beaten Track Nicaragua travels to hard-to-reach destinations where travellers will be flung back in time. Explore Ometepe Island - its history, wildlife and scenic vistas.
