2009 presents an outstanding selection of Pilgrimages and Battlefield Tours, reflecting the values and wishes of our travellers. Each journey provides a visit of a lifetime, embodying the experience of Remembrance.

You don�t have to be a member of The Royal British Legion to come on a Poppy Travel tour nor do you have to be a close relative or a comrade; we are there to help anyone. Pilgrimages Visiting the grave or memorial of a relative or comrade is a moving experience, however distant the relationship. Our Pilgrimage programme is there to enable visitors to pay their respects with the supportive atmosphere and ceremony that only The Royal British Legion can provide.

Our Pilgrimage programme has been arranged to take advantage of a busy and important year. It is the 95th anniversary of the start of the Great War, and the 65th anniversary of the epic events of 1944. Our Tours cover Normandy to Burma, with over 30 Pilgrimages worldwide. New locations for this year include: � Crete � D�rnbach & Bavaria � Poland - commemorating the 65th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising � Berlin and Colditz Battlefield Tours Our new programme includes many of our old favourites. From Ypres to Arnhem, Gallipoli to the Somme, Dunkirk and Normandy, you will find many dates to choose from. 2009 also gives us a chance to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the events of 1944, and there are several special tours planned that will only take place this year.
