Running throughout summer, the program invites both guests and locals to enjoy one of Melbourne's most sought-after rooftop pools, from early swims through to golden hour dips.

Formerly reserved for in-house guests, Pool Passes now offer Melburnians access to the luxury hotel's 28°C heated rooftop pool and open-air sun deck. Set high above the CBD, the space is bathed in natural light from morning through to sunset, with uninterrupted city views throughout the day.

Morning Pool Pass

Designed for early risers and those seeking a slower start, the Morning Pool Pass provides access to the rooftop pool and deck from 8 AM to 12 PM. Guests can swim, unwind and settle into the day with a complimentary serve of Le Méridien's world-famous Le Scoop gelato and a beverage of choice.

Sunset Pool Pass

Available from 6 PM to 9 PM, the Sunset Pool Pass marks the shift in mood as the city moves toward evening. With long summer light lingering, the rooftop remains bright and animated. Rosé and Champagne flow, the soundtrack changes, and the pool becomes a social focal point, lively, convivial and unmistakably Melbourne. The same inclusions as the Morning Pool Pass apply.

Sunset Rooftop Bar Service (Friday & Saturday Evenings)

On Friday and Saturday evenings, LE SPLASH Rooftop Pool Bar opens to the public for sunset service from 5 PM to 9 PM, welcoming guests to join for drinks and dinner.

To preserve the intimacy of the rooftop experience, a $50 reservation fee applies for all sunset bookings. This amount is fully returned as dining credit on the night, allowing guests to settle in and enjoy the menu at leisure. Rooftop Dining and Drinks

Food and drink at LE SPLASH are shaped by bright, unfussy plates designed for poolside grazing. The menu is guided by the sensibility of Bordeaux-born Executive Chef Hervé Borghini, whose time in Michelin-star kitchens along the Côte d'Azur informs the relaxed Mediterranean feel of the offering.

Standouts include fresh seasonal oysters, shucked to order, and Le Méridien Melbourne's Signature Steak Sandwich, a cult favourite with a loyal local following that often sells out each day, served with crisp pomme frites. A selection of refreshing salads and green bowls is also available, with the Mediterranean Melon a highlight, combining watermelon, cucumber, feta, pistachio and lime mint dressing, light, cooling and perfectly suited to warm afternoons by the pool.

For a refreshing finish after a swim, guests can cool off with house-made ice bars, including the Citrus Frost Bar, a limoncello ice bar dipped in white chocolate, and the Berry Noir Bar, a strawberry ice bar coated in decadent, dark chocolate.

For those inclined to indulge, Champagne & Caviar service is also available, served traditionally with blinis, chives and crème fraîche. G.H. Mumm Cordon Rouge anchors the offering, while collectors and Champagne devotees can enquire about Le Méridien Melbourne's allocation of Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015 Limited Edition by Takashi Murakami, an art-led release produced in strictly finite numbers worldwide.
