Eating Europe Expands Its Barcelona Footprint with Acquisition of The Barcelona Taste

Trip Whisperer

Rome, Italy – Eating Europe, one of Europe's most beloved and trusted food tour companies, today announced the acquisition of The Barcelona Taste, a pioneer of Barcelona food tours and a beloved local brand with 16 years of operating at the highest level.

This strategic acquisition strengthens Eating Europe's presence in Spain and accelerates growth in one of Europe's most celebrated culinary tourism markets. The Barcelona Taste will be integrated into the Eating Europe brand while continuing to deliver the exceptional quality and authenticity that have earned it stellar reviews for more than a decade.

“The goal of this acquisition is to give Eating Europe a stronger foothold in Barcelona's culinary tourism market, one of the oldest and most established in all of Europe,” said Kenny Dunn, Founder of Eating Europe. “The Barcelona Taste has been a pioneer of food and tapas tours for more than 16 years, earning exceptional reviews along the way. We're excited to welcome their extensive experience and long-standing local relationships to our team and to begin showcasing many of their restaurant partners to our guests, who will now be able to enjoy an expanded range of food tours in Barcelona,” Dunn added.

Operated by Michael Scott Kline and Lorea Uresberueta, The Barcelona Taste became synonymous with intimate, small-group culinary adventures that highlight the city's vibrant flavors and deep cultural roots. Its tours showcase Barcelona's culinary heritage through carefully curated stops, insider storytelling, and enduring partnerships with local restaurants and wine bars.

“We're thrilled to join forces with Eating Europe,” said Kline and Uresberueta. “This partnership allows us to share Barcelona's food culture with even more guests while staying true to the high-quality, authentic experiences that have defined our tours since day one.”

Dunn added, “We're honored to bring this legacy brand into Eating Europe and to continue elevating the bar together. Their commitment to quality and investing in local relationships mirrors our own.”

This milestone comes as Eating Europe continues to grow across Spain. Earlier this year, the company launched culinary experiences in Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, and San Sebastián as the most recent. Guests can now enjoy an even wider range of immersive food journeys in Barcelona, gaining access to exclusive food and wine venues and a rich portfolio of experiences that celebrate the region's gastronomic traditions.
