World Travel Market is to offer delegates the biggest travel and tourism industry promotion ever! The mega 1 million giveaway means that visitors, exhibitors and journalists will be offered a free one-day London Pass - which normally sells at 27 - with complimentary access to more than 50 of the capital's top tourist attractions such as the Tower of London, Shakespeare's Globe and London Zoo. And in addition for 2004 on collecting their London Pass, delegates will also be given a free copy of The London Guide, published by Morris Visitor Publications. The value of the free London Pass, which also offers discounts and concessions on shops and cafs, such as Hamleys and Hard Rock Cafe, is over 500. It can be collected at the Visit London stand at UKI 3000 throughout WTM (Monday 8 - Thursday 11 November at London's ExCeL) and is valid during the following weekend until Sunday 14 November. "This is the second time we have undertaken this amazing promotion at World Travel Market", said Fiona Jeffery, Group Exhibition Director. "But this year it is even bigger and better than before. "It means that with the assistance and co-operation of a number of key partners in London we are able to host delegates to a special day out to explore the wonderful, colourful and unique attractions in which London undoubtedly excels. "We are grateful to everyone that has made this real added value promotion possible." Angus Rankine, Founding Director of the Leisure Pass Group said that the free London Pass gave delegates a chance to enjoy everything that London has to offer. "There was tremendous interest in the promotion last time and we expect the take up to be even greater this year. The co-operation between Visit London, The London Guide and Leisure Pass Group is a good example of how companies and organisations are working together to really sell the attractions of London to domestic and overseas visitors." David Campbell, Chief Executive of Visit London remarked, "2004 has been a really good year for London with substantial increases in visitor numbers. Just as importantly visitors are noticing how much London is changing and how the city is becoming ever more dynamic. This fantastic offer with the London Pass is a great opportunity to find out what makes London a world class city - for free! Enjoy." Mark Hendriksen, publisher & Chief Executive of Morris (UK) commented, "The London Guide and London Pass combination provides everything our visitors need, great offers and a timely essential free guide to London. A winning combination that will run throughout 2005."
