Q: How long have you been with Discover The Palm Beaches? I joined Discover The Palm Beaches in 2019 as Strategic Marketing Partnerships Manager. Since then, I've had the opportunity to progress through several leadership roles, becoming Senior Vice President of Marketing as of 2024. Today, I lead a talented team across Integrated Marketing, Social Media, Digital Marketing, and Public Relations and Communications, which all work together to bring The Palm Beaches to life for our visitors.
Q. How long have you been in the travel industry? I've been working directly in the travel, tourism, and hospitality space for about seven years through my roles at Discover The Palm Beaches, but in many ways, travel and tourism have been a thread throughout my career. Whether I was working with hospitality, retail, or restaurant brands, travel is what connects and supports those industries — bringing people together, creating experiences, and driving growth.
The mix of community engagement, creativity, and business strategy is what inspires me every day and makes this work so meaningful.
Q: What originally drew you to the travel industry? Travel and tourism have always felt like a natural fit for me because it brings together storytelling, brand building, and creating experiences that resonate with people. One of my favorite parts of this role is showcasing the best of our destination to both locals and visitors and collaborating with our talented team of tourism professionals at Discover The Palm Beaches. Our shared passion truly shines through, and it's rewarding to see our work make a positive impact.
In addition, I love the creative energy that comes from working together. When we brainstorm, align our visions, and bring each person's expertise into play, our campaigns and partnerships come to life in a cohesive and impactful way.
Q: In your past professional life, you were …
Before joining Discover The Palm Beaches, I worked in marketing roles at The Zimmerman Agency, BurgerFi, and Related Companies, gaining experience across brand strategy, creative development, and integrated campaigns.
Q: What is something you love about working with travel media? I enjoy connecting with people who are genuinely passionate about discovering new places and sharing meaningful stories. Travel media helps bring destinations to life in a way that inspires people, and collaborating with them allows us to showcase the heart, unique character, and experiences that make The Palm Beaches so special.
Q. What are your professional pet peeves? Working in silos. I really value collaboration and momentum, and I think the best work happens when everyone is aligned and moving forward together.
Q. What has been your most memorable press trip? The “Golden Age of Travel” activations in Grand Central Terminal in New York City and Union Station in Chicago stand out as my most memorable initiatives. Designing a vintage airplane installation and watching consumers interact with it -- and with the story of our destination -- was an unforgettable moment.
Q. What is your favorite place to travel? I love exploring destinations that blend natural beauty, culture, and unforgettable experiences -- but at the end of the day, my heart always comes back to The Palm Beaches. Nothing compares to home.
