Q. What are your professional pet peeves? I am stickler for timelines. 

Q. In your past professional life, you were … that's tough-- probably a watchmaker! 

Q. Where would you like to return to? Australia 

Q. What's on your bucket list? Machu Picchu 

Q. Where do you travel for fun? It's usually the beach. I love the Andamans! 

Q. Your funniest (or most harrowing) travel story is … having to travel to Virginia for 3 days all the way from Delhi. The travel time was more than the time spent at the destination. I did fall in love with the quaint Roanoke, but it was a bit crazy, I'll admit. 

Q. What advice would you give your younger professional self? Never be afraid to ask questions! 

Q. What nugget would you like to add that we haven't touched on? Deadline is an important yardstick when it comes to freelance life, and often something Editors make a quick note of if you miss one :)
